The Brotherhood is made up of adult male members of the congregation (over 21 years old), bonding together for the benefit of the temple, our families, the community and the Brotherhood members to promote Jewish identity, Jewish education, a positive Jewish presence and a greater sense of involvement in our Congregation. Here are some of the things we accomplished in our first year (2005-2006):

• Ran a CPR clinic for Congregation B’nai Torah members

• Prepared turkeys for the Little Brothers – Friends of the Elderly

• Ran the Friday night service during Passover known as Shabbat shel Pesach

• Organized a B’nai Torah softball team (we play in the area Shul league)

• Did the cooking for the B’nai Torah Youth Shul-in

• Helped organize the B’nai Torah golf tournament

• Performed some general service projects for the temple

• Formed many new friendships

• Helped a lot of people that needed us
